Looking just at the cover photo and the title, I honestly expected a short, sexy read that would hopefully make me melt. Well I am happy to say that not only did it deliver but underneath all the passionate and wild trysts was a blossoming love that like the heroine, I never saw coming.Nina Lane proves once again that she can write some of THE most erotic scenes and yet somehow make it evolve into something tender and touching. This unexpected pairing of the uptight PTO President and the younger and very handsome new Principal had me from page one. I was completely intrigued at how this story would unravel with the very-much married Madeline Collins having a not-so secret affair with the single and swoonworthy Ben Hunter. I didn't know if I would accept Maddie jeopardizing her marriage and standing in the community for a heated affair with the very demanding Mr. Hunter. But after their first encounter, and both their reactions to their insane chemistry, I just knew this was a book that would have me fanning myself and often.
But what transpires after that first erotic tryst is what had me hooked. You get to watch as they start to fall for one another and see that Madeline could be any woman out there who just wants more but never took the time to realize that seemingly simple notion. When hard decisions are made for the sake of her children, I was torn between wanting what I thought Maddie deserved and what she truly needed.
I loved the way the story evolved and the affection I felt for these two characters. I didn't expect to want their HEA and honestly didn't know how it would all end. It is worth reading to find out for yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am hopeful we might see them again someday. Great characters, exceptional writing and a story that could have been any woman's journey.

Maddie had two great kids, was the president of the PTA and generally speaking, she had a great life. What she didn't have was a happy marriage. Her husband Richard ignored her and made her feel invisible. When Ben Hunter the new principal at school starts paying attention to her, she's flattered. She also realizes how badly she has yearned for the touch of a man. What happens when she gives in?
Poor Maddie. She's taken for granted by her husband and has to deal with the town gossip of those snide women on the PTA. No one sees the real Maddie until Ben. He sees her and so much more and pushes her boundaries. He's a sweet man and it was obvious from the beginning how intense their attraction was that it was more than a fling to him.
Don't think for a minute that Richard is being done wrong. He has his own secrets and turns out not to be a nice man at all.
This was a pretty short book. I wish we would have seen more future in the epilogue, but it was good.
I loved Ben and Maddie and sure do hope we have another book that continues their story. I really want to read more about them! Although their book ended on a great note, I was so caught up in their story I wanted to see what would happen next, after that last page was over. In summary, Maddie was caught up in a life that seemed perfect on the outside looking in, but was far from it. Ben and Maddie start an intense affair, then fall in love along the way. Since they are perfect together, and her husband is a total creep, you can't help put start pulling for them. What happens next couldn't be predicted, but when you love someone intensely those feeling can't be hidden forever. That's all I'm giving away, but go ahead and one click this. Even if you don't like cheating stories, this one is really good, and the way it's written, you see that in the end everyone is better off because Maddie decided to take a risk.
I loved reading Sticky, all about Maddie Collins a mother of two, the PTO president & a museum educator & Mr. Ben Hunter the Sweetwater Elementary school principle. Maddie not only was a mother, held a job & created spreadsheets galore for the PTO and her children's lives that she simply fell out of love with her husband & their futile night life. The school principle had a huge crush on her, that she never knew, until the other night after a PTO meeting where one of the mom's thru her under the bus and told her everybody knew her and her husband had a sexless marriage and that's why she was such a witch with a B. Maddie was horrifies, and ran from the common room. The author wrote a great story. And the characters brought said story to life! Read about Maddie & Ben and fall in love, the story will make you laugh, cry, sigh, shake your head and cum up a storm.
I really enjoyed this book & I'm surprised because I didn't think I would. I know a lot of people won't read a book if there is cheating in it but trust me when I say if any s*** zipper deserved to be cheated on it was the prick husband in this book. At first I did think Madeline was a stiff, cold robot but after hearing about her Mother & the way she was raised I understood. I can't imagine being a 40 year old woman & to have NEVER experienced fulfilling sex. No woman deserves to live such an empty life & she shouldn't be content to live life unsatisfied. Madeline is the "perfect" wife & Mother taking care of her husband & son & daughter. She is 40 years old but is beautiful & extremely fit always eating the right things & exercising religiously. She is the President of the PTO of her children's school, always helping out & volunteering. The school gets a new Principal, the young & handsome Ben Hunter. Madeline & Ben argue over what to do with the money the PTO has raised, she wants to update the playground & he wants to buy computers for the school. She lacks any passion in her life so when her & Ben get into a heated argument it soon turns sexual. Ben was great, he gave her what her POS husband couldn't & he treated her like she was the sexiest woman on earth.
